Holidays 2010

The holidays were such a busy time and I can't believe I'm just now finally getting to updating my holiday sessions.  It was a blast and such a blessing to be able to take so many great pictures for people to have for Christmas this year.  I had a few sets of twins which was really cool!  One set of twins were sisters that each had a daughter only weeks apart from one another.  They were such cute baby girls.

It was exciting to be able to do the Christmas photos for a brother and sister that I took pictures of a few months ago when the baby girl was just born.  Now she's getting so big so fast and big brother is such an independent little guy and definitely keeps me on my toes.  I also got some pictures of baby A in her beautiful christening gown.

The other set of twins were 1 year old brother and sister with just the most beautiful blue eyes.

I also got to meet a beautiful newborn baby girl and she was such a great baby, so calm and relaxed for all of her pictures.

There was a family of four with two older boys and that was by far the most fun of all of my shoots for the holidays.  These boys were just cracking me up the entire time and it made for lots of giggles.

My other family shoot gave me the challenge of not only having everyone looking at the camera, mom dad, 4 year old and almost 2 year old....they wanted the dog too!  I was so happy with these pictures as crazy as the shoot was you would never know by seeing these pictures.  The family is beautiful and I was a huge fan of their zebra rug!!

I'm very grateful for what the holidays have brought me and am very excited to see what 2011 brings for Gasstrom Photography!  It's been a total blast so far and can't wait to see what the future has in store for me!

M family cake and fun!

Each portrait session is more fun than the last!  I got to meet a very adorable and reserved little girl and her very social big brother who just loved the camera.  I got a few great family shots and then wanted to try a smash cake shoot with little miss "O".  I really think this may have been every ones favorite part of the session!  She wasn't too keen on digging in.  She really was more delicate about it, dipping one finger in and going to daddy to get cleaned off.  All in all it was a success and I can't wait for the family to see the rest of the pictures!  I'm really enjoying seeing all the different personalities of these children.  It's funny because each time I meet a new little one I hear the same story of them not getting their nap before I get there.  As hard as I try to plan around these precious nap times it never fails that this happens.  It's almost like they know something fun is coming and they don't want to miss it.  Regardless just as the others she was precious as ever and very cooperative along with her big brother!
