It's been quite a while since I have updated my blog. Thankfully I have been very busy, which I feel is a good excuse to being a little bit behind. It's been such a whirlwind the past few months but along the way I have met several wonderful people, cuddled many newborn babies, witnessed a beautiful wedding , a Bar Mitzvah and enjoyed many many giggles with very fun and adventurous children and also took some time to myself to enjoy my family and sight see a little bit! I just wanted to share a few of my photo's from the past few months to highlight and give just a little taste of my adventures.

I say it every time but this pregnant mother to be was just so relaxed and just appeared so content with her pregnancy. I don't like to put up many pregnancy photos since I feel it is a very intimate and private moment for a mother. I am grateful to be able to share a few of these with you.
This little 6 month old was by far the most pleasant and easy to work with baby yet!! He was sound asleep when he arrived and he took a little coaxing to wake up but once he opened his beautiful blue eyes he was so easy and such a pleasure!!
Pregnancy is amazing and just beautiful and I love that I am able to capture such an amazing time in one's life. This mother to be was just glowing and her belly was perfect. It was a very peaceful shoot and I look forward to meeting the baby boy in person!

The holidays were such a busy time and I can't believe I'm just now finally getting to updating my holiday sessions. It was a blast and such a blessing to be able to take so many great pictures for people to have for Christmas this year. I had a few sets of twins which was really cool! One set of twins were sisters that each had a daughter only weeks apart from one another. They were such cute baby girls.
It was exciting to be able to do the Christmas photos for a brother and sister that I took pictures of a few months ago when the baby girl was just born. Now she's getting so big so fast and big brother is such an independent little guy and definitely keeps me on my toes. I also got some pictures of baby A in her beautiful christening gown.
The other set of twins were 1 year old brother and sister with just the most beautiful blue eyes.
I also got to meet a beautiful newborn baby girl and she was such a great baby, so calm and relaxed for all of her pictures.
There was a family of four with two older boys and that was by far the most fun of all of my shoots for the holidays. These boys were just cracking me up the entire time and it made for lots of giggles.
My other family shoot gave me the challenge of not only having everyone looking at the camera, mom dad, 4 year old and almost 2 year old....they wanted the dog too! I was so happy with these pictures as crazy as the shoot was you would never know by seeing these pictures. The family is beautiful and I was a huge fan of their zebra rug!!
I'm very grateful for what the holidays have brought me and am very excited to see what 2011 brings for Gasstrom Photography! It's been a total blast so far and can't wait to see what the future has in store for me!

Each portrait session is more fun than the last! I got to meet a very adorable and reserved little girl and her very social big brother who just loved the camera. I got a few great family shots and then wanted to try a smash cake shoot with little miss "O". I really think this may have been every ones favorite part of the session! She wasn't too keen on digging in. She really was more delicate about it, dipping one finger in and going to daddy to get cleaned off. All in all it was a success and I can't wait for the family to see the rest of the pictures! I'm really enjoying seeing all the different personalities of these children. It's funny because each time I meet a new little one I hear the same story of them not getting their nap before I get there. As hard as I try to plan around these precious nap times it never fails that this happens. It's almost like they know something fun is coming and they don't want to miss it. Regardless just as the others she was precious as ever and very cooperative along with her big brother!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting three one year old little cousins. It was by far a very busy shoot! They each had their own agenda and it was just so fun to see the way they interacted with one another. They even got to enjoy some cupcakes together, which was my personal favorite moment. When two of them were sitting one of them was venturing off to investigate. It was so nice to see these three little cuties so close in age. It will definitely be a moment that their mommy's will be able to look back on and smile!
